It’s hard to find the words. I’m a mom, so I know the amazing feeling of bringing a child into the world. There is nothing like it. What I didn’t realize, is how incredibly emotional and powerful it would be to watch another couple experience that love for the first time. I watched Marie labor for hours, I watched Rich comfort her, and I cheered her on while wiping my tears. I was so incredibly lucky to be able to document this love. God Bless Baby Bo.

Eric and I drove out to Winvian Resort to meet up with Jenn and Mike for their engagement shoot and they were so much fun! Winvian is amazing. We can’t wait for their wedding in December.

Sometimes, the path you choose first, doesn’t lead you to where you thought it would. Sometimes, God has a different plan in mind. As Dawn got dressed with her daughters, and Jim’s sons helped with his finishing touches, everything seemed as it should be. It was clear that however many turns this path may take, this family was going to take it together. It was clear that this was their path, the one leading them to where they were always meant to be.

Their love seemed pure. It seemed simple. It was a comfortable love. The kind of comfortable that you can only truly feel around that one person. And you could see it, when they spoke each other’s names, they felt lucky to have found one another. I can’t think of a better way to spend a day than around real love. Luis and Lizzie were married at Full Moon Resort in the Catskills, and it was amazing. They are amazing.
